One of the first important parts of our project was to find a product name that we could fully reflect ourselves and our product. A combination of Autonomous,Auto and Robot were used to select the name of the product we designed. As you can see, we're here with the AUTOBOT. We would like to state that our product works in harmony with the latest technology. AUTOBOT is currently designed with hardware and software components. In addition,Mapping, Localization, Path Planning, Path Following, and a user interface for you to more easily track and manage the movements of the robot created for you and 3D design is presented to you. We believe that all our customers deserve the best service and we aim to achieve this through our work. Therefore, new versions of AUTOBOT are being worked on and improvements are being made. WHAT IS OUR GOAL?
As the team of the Autobot project, it was our goal from the beginning to deliver a product that we could develop in coordination with the development of technology. Features offered to the Autobot user include: closed environment Mapping, Localization, Path Planning, Path Following, and a 3D simulation environment for users. Furthermore, the simulation program, which uses the map generated by the collected LIDAR data, creates a suitable environment for the robot to learn operations such as path tracking and dynamic obstacle avoidance through its structure intelligence. We would like to point out that with these functions provided to the robot, we can create an efficient, fast and safe environment for routine work. Autobot will also be able to support production growth with an active robot structure that can operate continuously. Thus, AUTOBOT can reduce your labor costs. In some simple routine work, it costs far less than a human being. And we can say that one of the most important points is that you can improve the quality of your employees ' work. Why? Since AUTOBOT does most routine tasks, people working in these jobs can spend all their productivity on more demanding tasks. In addition to providing all this functionality to the user, AUTOBOT is the perfect design to achieve all our goals.
MAPPING
It is very difficult for robots to move autonomously indoors because GPS and similar technologies cannot be used indoors because they are represented by meters. Therefore, SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) is used in order for the robot to recognize the environment in which it is located and to determine its location in this environment. The map is created by moving the robot in its environment and collecting the lidar data.
LOCALIZATION
Simultaneous localization of the robot is achieved by using instant lidar and odometry data from the robot.


FUNCTIONALITIES
PATH PLANNING
Path Planning that is created to reach any point on the map with the point where the robot is located.

PATH FOLLOWING
Path following is that the robot moves autonomously by following the points on the path to reach the target point.

UNITY SIMULATION
The 2D / 3D simulation design and user interface are designed so that our valued users can monitor the robot's status synchronously.
